The course "Project Mechanical Engineering", which is scheduled in the 5th semester, is intended to enable students of the Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering to analyze and plan practical tasks in a team under university supervision and to work on them successfully in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines. The results are to be presented and defended in a presentation at the end of the project.

For this purpose, topics are provided by the respective chairs. The registration for a topic is done by the supervisor/contact person of this topic. Please contact the respective supervisor for information on the offered topic. Before starting to work on the topic in a team, a comprehensive introduction is provided, in which a detailed problem definition and exact objectives are formulated.

Please note that you can ONLY be enrolled in a topic for the module "Project Mechanical Engineering" via the supervisor. For this purpose, a personal preliminary discussion with the topic creator is absolutely necessary.

Projects are assigned on a regular basis and are usually suitable for a team size of 3-4 editors. Current topic announcements can be found under Advertised Projects, in our notices or can be presented on request.
